He is survived by: his wife Linda Noble Watkins; his children, David Rees Watkins Jr. (Kelly), Danny Watkins (Julie), Becky Arnold (Steve) and Amy Shellhamer (Scott); and his siblings, Esther Watkins Fray and Ezra Watkins.
