He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Velma Mae Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Middleton and Heather Middleton (Smith); his brothers, Thomas (Rachael), Nicholas (Gwen) and Warren; his nephew Colsen; his grandparents, James Sr., Lillian Middleton, Fred and Barb Smith; and his close friends, Emmi Rose, Logan Butler, Henrik Klepper, Joe Hanstine and Jimmy Orthouse. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
