With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcella I. Baum of Stahlstown, Pennsylvania, born in Pleasant Unity, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 4, 2021 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Shopsky and Marie Shopsky (Loughner); her husband Frank Benjamin Baum; her son-in-law Kenneth Sullenberger; her great grandchild Zachary Martin; her siblings, Peg Laughner, Elizabeth Struble (Joseph), Harvey Shopsky (Rosemary) and William Shopsky (Baine); and her brother-in-law John Rundy.
She is survived by : her children, Jacob Baum (Linda) of Zebulon, N. C., Margaret Frey (Larry) of Stahlstown and Beverly Sullenberger of Stahlstown; her grandchildren, Lorie Gioia (Joe), Scott Barkley, Matt Barkley (Christina), Mike Frey, Jeff Baum, James Baum (Mandy), Keith Sullenberger (Michelle) and Kris Sullenberger (Valerie); her great grandchildren, Gretchen Martin, Kaitlin Walker (Chris), Alex Baum, Jonah Barkley and Ella Barkley; her great great grandchildren, Rooney Blake Walker and Benjamin Sullenberger; and her sister Jean Rundy of Luxor. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
