He is survived by: his great-aunt Sarah Voegtly Crone (Sadie); his sister Elizabeth Huff Rodewald; and his nieces and nephews, Frederick Huff (Leslie) of The Woodland, TX, Suzanne Huff Carreker (Larry) of Houston, Sarah Huff Day (Richard) of Whitney Point, NY, George F. Huff III (Sharon) of Houston, Ann Rodewald Steenkiste (Peter) of Pittsburgh and John Steiner Rodewald (Jean) of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by 12 grandnieces and grandnephews and their children.

William’s great grandmother Anna Bauder Voegtly and my great great grandfather Nicholas Bauder were siblings. I met William as I was researching the Bauder family history about 9 years ago. His research of the Bauder and Voegtly families Samuel H Crone and his wife was one of the highlights of my life culminating in the unveiling of the Samuel H Crone Gallery at AMUM.”
