She was predeceased by: her spouse David L. Markey; her parent George Hamberger; her son Marlin Markey; her sons-in-law, Robert C. Grim and Mark Ludwick; and her great great grandchildren, Lucas Stepp and Sara Naumann.
She is survived by: her parent Ella E. Hamberger (Ilyes); her children, Sandra Schaefer (Ralph), Phyllis Stine (Kenneth) and Kathleen Sterling (John); her daughter-in-law Barbara Markey; and her siblings, Donald Hamberger (Betty) and Mildred Eckert. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
