He was predeceased by: his parents, Furman Atwood and Mary Edwards Lunger; his siblings, Atwood, Robert, Vernon, James, Donald, Leo Lunger, Dorothy Heinrich, Annabelle Sands and Margaret Roberts; and his great grandchild Reese Amelia Lunger.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Dolores Irene Ball; his children, Wade (Jill Lunger), Patricia (Harold Noble), Beth Lunger (Merri Walter), Bonnie (Carl Shook), Mary Ann (Edward Knolles), Margaret Lunger of Dallas, Atwood (Janet Lunger), Scott (Kristin Lunger) and Lucy (Tim Jurchak); and his brother-in-law Gerald Ball of Forkston. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
