We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2025, at the age of 89, Margaret Mary Defosse (Springfield, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick J. Harkins and Ellen M. Harkins (Tucker); her husband Thomas "Tom" Defosse, Jr.; her daughter Linda Defosse; and her siblings, Pat, Jim, Chuck, Jack and Frank.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Amariti (Russ), Tom Defosse III (Patti) and Karen McCreavy (Kevin); her grandchildren, Siobhan, Ellen, Dylan, Julia, Tommy, Isobel, Veronica and Ceara; and her great grandchildren, Keelan, Maeve, Tommy V and Celeste.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Peter and Paul Cemetery Chapel (1600 S Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery (1600 S Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064).
