Louis D. DeSantis Obituary
In loving memory of Louis D. DeSantis of Springfield, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on February 24, 2025 at the age of 88. Louis leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominick DeSantis and Theresa DeSantis (Lauria); his siblings, Rita DeSantis, Gloria Pisciotta (Vince), Anthony DeSantis (Doris), Florence Hannum (Robert) and Theresa DeSantis; and his grandmother Nan Carrathers (John Capaldi).
He is survived by: his wife Joanne DeSantis; his children, Jeanmarie, Mary Clare Smith (Robert), Ann Marie Carrathers (Chuck), Rita Capaldi and Joanne Dent (Stephen); and his grandchildren, Emily (Andrew), Molly, Caroline Smith and Arthur Louis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and countless dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi (136 Saxer Ave, Springfield, PA 19064). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Donations in Louis' memory may be made to the Carmelite Sisters (P.O. Box 37, Central Valley, NY 10917), Sisters of St. Joseph, or Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
