He was predeceased by: his father H. William Eckberg; and his sister Anita Carlstrom. He is survived by: his wife Sandi (Shockley); his children, Ryan (Kelly) and Dana Catania; his grandchildren, Gwyneth, Robert, Keira, Michael, Brooke, Joss, Sydney, Vincent and Olivia; his siblings, Vicki Hunter (John), Eric Eckberg (Jody), Mary Mann (Joe) and Barb Iverson (Jim); and his parents-in-law, Denise Santella (Joe), Kim Fink (Jerry) and Karin Copeland (Skip). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
