He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Eckman and Nancy Eckman (Casson); his siblings, Kathryn Link, Michael (Rose) and Carl (Ellen); his nieces and nephews, Cara McCandless (Eric), Julie Benyoussef (Ouadie), Christopher, Drew (Jamie), Christian (Adina) and Kurt (Natalie); his great-nephew Wesley; and his great-niece Leila. He was also cherished by 10 great nephews.
