She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Madigan and Florence Madigan; her husband Henry J. Gillespie; and her brothers, Philip, John and Bernard Madigan.
She is survived by: her children, James Gillespie (Kathy), Helena Fagan (Larry) and Richard Gillespie (Peggy); her granddaughters, Debbie McLuckie (Glenn), Amy Gillespie (Joe Mullock) and Kathleen Kinder; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Courtney McLuckie and Annamarie Kinder; and her niece Jane Mohr (Fran).
Not one to sit idle in her retirement, Helen was very social and kept herself busy in various senior groups at local churches, bowling every Friday afternoon, until Covid, in her league at the MacDade Lanes, playing cards and bingo with friends, and trips to the casino.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
