He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hilbert and Frances Hilbert; and his siblings, Agnes Gosk, Alfred Hilbert and Rita King.
He is survived by: his wife Claire; his daughters, Kathy (Chad), Linda and Christine (Drew); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Bryce and Teagan Sweeney; and his stepgranddaughter Elizabeth. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
