He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis C. Johnston and Hattie C. Phillips; and his wife Patricia Johnston. He was also cherished by married in 1955, and by three children and three grandchildren.
Due to the COVID pandemic, a private funeral service for his immediate family is being held.
