He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mabel "May"; his children, Christine Hooker (John), Eugene J. Carroll III and Patricia Benz (Jim); his great grandchildren, Oliver Eugene, Benjamin, Brynleigh and Jacob; and his siblings, Catherine Englert, Raymond Carroll and Joan Malloy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gene's memory to Samaritan Hospice would be appreciated.
