She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smyth and Catherine Smyth; and her siblings, John Francis Smyth Jr., William, Gerald Smyth (Josephine), Marie Smyth, Dorothy McBride (James) and Catherine Gallagher (John).
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Maher (Joe); her children, Joseph Maher Jr. (Cathy), Lisa Hutchins (James), Kathleen Nader (Edmond), Suzanne Dickerson, Diane McNamee, Teresa Maher and Michelle Johnston (Hugh); and her grandchildren, Andrew, Aubrie Nader, Shannon Trump, Connor Dickerson, Kelly Anne Dickerson, Shayne McNamee, Ailene Keys, Keegan and Daisy Johnston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Church (110 Saint Elizabeth Drive, Chester Springs, PA 19425). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
Liz will be fondly remembered for her generous spirit, devotion to her family, and her contributions to the Springfield community.
