We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2024, Edward M. Birtwell Jr. of Springfield, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Edward farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Edward is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Constance Birtwll; his parents, Edward M. Birtwell, and Dorothy B. Birtwell, Sr.; and his sister Loretta Ersek. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Birtwell and Heather Manning (Kevin); his granddaughter Katrina Manning; and his sister Dot Pollock.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of St. Francis de Sales (35 New Rd, Aston, PA 19014). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of St. Francis de Sales Churchyard (35 New Rd, Aston, PA 19014).
