He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Gildea (Borowski); and his parents, John Gildea and Mary Gildea (Martin). He is survived by: his children, Kevin Gildea (Lisa) of Tennessee, Edmond Gildea, Jr. (Jennifer) of Pennsylvania, Eric Gildea (Rhoden) of Oklahoma and Stephanie Ristrom (Jeff) of Arizona; and his grandchildren, Christina, Daniel, Sean, Matthew, Jeanelle, Amanda and Erin.
