He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann Foust; and his sister Marie Vallely. He is survived by: his children, Gregory Steven Foust (Suzanne), Carolyn Ann Benslimane (Hakim) and Leslie Ann Bradshaw (Matthew); his grandchildren, Kristin, Gregory, Meyriem, Driss, Patrick and Claire; his sister Sue Dougherty; and his pet Burr. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
