He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Pontello; his parents, Pietro Pontello and Pauline Pontello; and his sisters, Norma Pontello and Dolores Gregitis.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Peter Pontello II (Stacy) and Heather Lynne Swartz (Kevin); his grandchildren, Angelina Pontello and Tyler Swartz; his sister Rosemarie Pontello; and his nieces and nephews, Martha Crow (Bill), John Gregitis (Rose Mary), Lizanne Kiel (Mark) and David Gregitis (Rosemarie).
