It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A. Garmer of Springdale, Pennsylvania, born in Freeport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kendall and Edith Kendall (Ashenbaugh); and her former husband James Oliver Arner. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Garmer of Springdale; her children, Cindy Thomas (Dave) of Gilpin Township, Ronald Arner (June) of Valencia, PA, Donald Arner (Diane) of Vandergrift, PA and Randy Arner (Lori) of New Castle, OH; and her stepchildren, Douglas Garmer (Terri) of Belton, TX, Tammy Jones (Mike) of Pierson, FL and Jennifer Garmer of Dagsboro, DE. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
