With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin D. Schubert Sr. of Springdale, Pennsylvania, born in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 16, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his sons, Mel Schubert, Jr. (Clare) of Altamonte Springs, FL, Gary Schubert (Jenny) of New Kensington, PA and Mark Schubert (Christine) of Verona, PA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the H. John Heinz, III Dept. of Veteran's Affairs 1010 Delafield Rd. Pgh., PA 15240.
