It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha M. Grottenthaler of Springdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mitas and Mary Hussar Mitas; her siblings, John Mitas, Andrew Mitas and Hilda Mitas; and also Edward Grottenthaler.

She is survived by: her husband Ed. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Martha enjoyed shopping, home arts, travel and was a Tour Guide for Pittsburgh History and Landmark Foundation.
