He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Lance and Matilda Lance (Zygmunt); his sister Mary Ann Lance; and his former wife Theresa Lance (Curran). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lynne Lance (Jones); his sons, Lawrence of Buckhannon, W. V, Christopher (Laura) of Duncansville and Patrick (Angie) of Covington; and his sisters, Dorothy Gray (Lance) of Murrysville and Elizabeth Sharp (Lance) of Anna, Texas. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
