He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Strawoet and Patricia Strawoet (Lochrane); and his brothers, Eric J. Strawoet of Cheswick and Kevin M. Strawoet of Grand Canyon. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Strawoet (DeSantis); his daughters, Carla Kelley (Strawoet) and Leanna Strawoet of Springdale Township; and his grandchildren, Norah Mae and Grant Kelley.
