He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur H. Garmer and Ruth Garmer (Felsing); his wife Shirley A. (Kendell); and his siblings, Theda Fredley and Alvin Garmer.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Jones (Mike) of Pierson, FL, Jennifer Garmer of Bethany Beach, DE and Douglas Garmer (Terri) of Belton, TX; and his stepchildren, Cynthia Thomas (Dave) of Gilpin Township, Ronald Arner (June) of Valencia, PA, Donald Arner (Diane) of Vandergrift and Randy Arner (Lori) of New Castle, OH. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
