He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence B. Godwin and Geraldine Godwin (Rudler). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Godwin (Sowry); his children, Laura Mealy (Darren) of Meadville and Thomas "TJ" Godwin (Amy) of Springboro; his grandchildren, Caden, Kendall Mealy, Heath and Quinn Godwin; and his sister Pat Patterson (Roger) of Swansboro, NC.. He is also survived by extended family members and many close friends.
