It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra J. Higgins of Spring Run, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Debra departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Debra. Though Debra may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick L. Shank and Joan C. Shank (Head). She is survived by: her children, Matthew D. Ott (Tara) of Waynesboro, Nathan A. Ott (Chasidy) of Chambersburg and Alexandria F. Hill (Kyler Wood) of Spring Run; her siblings, Rick D. Shank (Gwenda) of Newburg, Stephanie S. Shaw of Shippensburg and Jamie L. Alexander (Heather) of Lock Haven; and her stepsisters, Bonnie Vaughn of Shippensburg and Sherry Weaver (Butch) of Shippensburg. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
