He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Tice and Emily "Hall" Tice; his daughters, Betty Ann Tice, Nancy Jane Tice, Debra Kay Tice and Wanda Marie Tice; his siblings, Merrill, John, Foster, Stewart, Bruce, Harold Tice, Helen Kitner, Verna Peese and Lois Herstetter; and his son-in-law Ralph Slyder.
He is survived by: his wife Miriam K. Rider; his children, Kathy L. Tice Slyder of Williamsburg, Lori A. Tice Shughart (Nevin) of Dillsburg and Donald E. Tice, Sr. (Hulda) of Spring Mills; his siblings, Russell Tice, Nelson Tice, Rebecca Musser, Viola Webner and Faye Biggens; and his grandchildren, Donald E. Tice, Jr., Christal D. Tice Simons and Matthew S. Shughart.
