He was predeceased by: his parents, James Royer and Zella "Ripka" Royer; his wife Lois G. Smith; his brother Wendell Royer (Phyllis); and his daughter-in-law Nancy Royer.
He is survived by: his sons, Dennis D. Royer of Spring Mills, Douglas M. Royer of Spring Mills and Donald J. Royer (Penny) of Spring Mills; his grandchildren, Amanda Ault (Joey), Jermaine Royer, Abigail Royer (Nick) and Nathan Royer (Kelly); and his great grandchildren, Dominic Royer, Gabriel Shawver, Jackson Ault and Chloe Royer.
