It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ethel McGinnis of Spring Mills, Pennsylvania, born in Duncansville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Brubaker and Martha "Stom" Brubaker; her husband Allan C. McGinnis; her great grandchild Devon; and her daughter-in-law Margaret.

She is survived by: her children, Lee Anne Ernst (Daniel) of O'Fallon, IL, Nancy Reffner (Jerry) of Altoona, Norma McGinnis of Pleasant Gap, Scott A. McGinnis of Coburn, Michael J. McGinnis (Donna) of Marsh Creek and Vincent J. McGinnis (Mary) of Clearfield. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend her service, one of my granddaughters has a birthday party today. Whoever wrote that obituary did an excellent job! I have never read such a moving and unique obituary! We can be proud of our mother’s! They were loving, caring women who would do anything for their family! I will miss Thelma too! Love, Patty”
