It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David John Surkosky of Spring Mills, Pennsylvania, born in Windber, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 26, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Edward Surkosky and Mary Margaret Surkosky (Baer); his sister Kathleen Fry (Surkosky); and his brother-in-law Dr. Thomas Klena. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his sons, Shawn Surkosky (Karin) and Matthew Surkosky (Paula); his grandchildren, Christopher, Lyndsay, Megan and Emma Surkosky; his brothers, Edward T. Surkosky and Timothy Surkosky (Carol); and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Matthew Klena, Thomas Fry, Charlotte Klena and Diane Klena. He is also survived by twenty-one nieces and nephews.
