He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Spangler and Grace Dubs Spangler; his daughter Angela Y. Sliker; and his brother Robert H. Spangler. He is survived by: his daughter Linda A. Spangler of Spring Grove; his grandchildren, Whitney Geiman (Zachary) of York, Zackary Strausbaugh (Ashley) of York and Levi Strausbaugh of Hanover; his great grandchildren, Zage and Lynken Geiman; and his siblings, James Spangler (Gloria) of Thomasville, Nancy Hershey (Ronald) of York and Jean Keeney of York. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
