With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Spurgeon Mummert (Spring Grove, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 28, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia A. Mummert (Landes); his parents, John A. Mummert and Sadie Mummert (Fuhrman); and his siblings, Ivan Mummert, Janet Miler and Gladys Hartman.
He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Mummert (Lisa); his stepchildren, Steven Randall (Kathleen), Christopher "Kit" Randall, Christi, Kathryn Zinn, Marjorie Markle (Joseph), Jennifer Senft (Keith) and Kristine Burnell (Christopher); and his brother Dennis Mummert. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of choice.
