He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth N. Boeckel (Ehrhart); his parents, William Boeckel and Mary Boeckel (Gunnett); and his brother William Boeckel. He is survived by: his children, Carol Landis and Scott Boeckel (Connie). He is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
