He was predeceased by: his parents, John Swords and Geraldine Swords (Eckenrode). He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Michael); his children, Mallory Harman (Shawn), Nicole Thompson (Chris), Rachel Smith, Jeremy, Samantha Swords and Sierra Swords; his grandson Landon Harman; his siblings, John Swords (Sandy), Rick Swords (Emily), Barb Sweitzer (George), Kathy Miller (Steve), Dave Swords (Elaine) and Rodney Swords (Kathy); his siblings-in-law, Ron Michael (Sue), Ed Michael (Rachel) and Diane Betlyon (Dick); and his pets, Jethro, Ziva, Snowbaby and Pearl. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
