It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Lou Shaffer of Spring Grove, Pennsylvania, born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 8, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles L. Shaffer; her parents, Clyde Wagner and Cora Wagner (Grote); and her sister Katherine Meek. She is survived by: her children, Sheri L. Bankert (Darryl), Jeffrey A. Shaffer (Kimberly), Keven E. Shaffer (Michelle) and Matthew C. Shaffer (Dawn); her siblings, Paul D. Wagner (Shirley), Scott D. Wagner (Tonya), Ruth Ann Miller (Harold) and Gail E. Forry (Rodney); and her brother-in-law Alan Meek. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hanover First Church of God (600 Fairview Dr, Hanover, PA 17331). A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
