It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carl Alwine (Spring Grove, Pennsylvania), born in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 30, 2020, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Alwine (Sinner); his parents, Gurney Alwine and Ottie Alwine (Barnhart); his son Ronald Alwine; and his sisters, Arlene Pike and Linda Bass.
He is survived by: his close friend Loretta Hamme; his children, Caryl Trostle, Thomas Alwine (Jane Behler) and Debra Chrisley; and his brother Dale Alwine. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
