He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan Kebil-Smith; his parents, Thomas G. Smith (Joyce) of Hanover and Prudence Reichart (Frank) of New Oxford; his children, Ali Marie Smith and Derek Andrew Smith of Spring Grove; his brothers, Thomas and Joel Smith; his stepsiblings, Mike Reichart, Debbie Hartlaub and Kim Zinn; his grandparents, Paul G., Marie Smith, Andrew and May Aliminosa; and his father-in-law Joseph A. Kebil. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
