He was predeceased by: his wife Mary D. Stroup (Moore); and his parents, Arthur Preston Stroup and Barbara Jean Stroup (Yount). He is survived by: his son Micheal J. Moore (Crystal); and his sisters, Doris (Mark Knarr) and Geraldine Shenkman of Clairmont, FL. He is also survived by three grandchildren, one great granddaughter and five nephews.
