He was predeceased by: his parent James Vafeades. He is survived by: his parent Dorothy Vafeades (Alexiades); his significant other Maureen McClure; his sons, James Vafeades, Paul Vafeades and Christopher Vafeades; his grandsons, Christopher and Nicholas; and his sister Ann Barlas.
