He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard M. Schantz and Betty Lou (Hoff). He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Wentworth (Bruce), Leonard "Lenny" Schantz (Christine), Donald Schantz and Mark Schantz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
