He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bruce Gill (Dorothy), Malcolm Gill (Lois) and Peggy Maloney (Robert); and his brother-in-law Harold Shermer (Jane). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Shermer Gill; his children, Donald Gill (Stacey), Christine Lemonick and Elizabeth Barry (John); his grandchildren, Jaimie, Reid (Sabrina), Caity, Joshua, Rachel, Ella, Colleen (Andrew), Margaret and Samuel; his great grandchildren, Vivian and Archer; and his sister-in-law Carol Koch (Charles). He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
