He is survived by: his wife Lynne Walleigh-Porter; his parents, Frank N. Porter and Cecilia Porter; his sister Cheryl Diamond-Carter (Bruce Carter); his daughters, Sammi Porter and Shawna Porter Grubb (Joshua Grubb); and his grandsons, Cameron Porter and Conner Porter. He is also survived by friends that he considered extended family.
