He was predeceased by: his spouse Eleanor H. Szymkiewicz (Fabian) of East Vincent; his parent Stanley Szymkiewicz; and his siblings, Rose Demyan, Mary Grealey and Joseph Szymkiewicz.
He is survived by: his parent Michaelina Szymkiewicz (Vworchik); his children, Edward J. Szymkiewicz, Jr. of Spring City, PA, Helen Marie (Bill Cote) of Phoenixville, PA and Mary Ann Cox of Wayne, PA.; his grandchildren, Amy, Jennifer, Amanda, Allison and Mark; his great grandchildren, Claire, Kyle, Ian, Luke and Alexis; and his siblings, Frances Thomas of Roxborough, PA and Raymond Szymkiewicz of Red Hill, PA..
