He is survived by: his children, Scott Colan (Kristin), Kelly DeRosa (Dominic) and Dawn Mason (Julian); his nephew Shawn Colan (Mary); his sisters, Geraldine Colan and Mary Lewis (Frank); and his stepchildren, Meredith Mitchell (Tom), Lindsey Fiegel (Chris) and Edward Holt III.
