He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Slocum and Dorothy White Slocum; his wife Kathryn Ongley; and his son-in-law Steven R. Sandberg. He is survived by: his children, David Slocum (Audrey) of Spartansburg, Kevin Slocum (Jill) of Corry and Cheryl Sandberg of Corry; his grandchildren, Emma, Evan Slocum, Carter, Cooper, Kate Slocum, Andrew Sandberg (Kirsten) of Spartansburg and Matthew Sandberg; his sister LouAnne Pangborn of Lakewood, NY; his nephew Bill Grigsby; and his niece Amanda Degnan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. (303 N Washington St, Titusville, PA 16354). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
