It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald H. Owens of Spartansburg, Pennsylvania, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on May 31, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Lawrence Petty-Owens and Marietta Petty-Owens; and his sister Elaine Ruffner. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn J. Moore-Owens; and his children, Sue Bresler (Steve) of Corry, PA and Larry Owens (Beth) of Elgin, PA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
