She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Whitling and Ida Whitling (Shirey); her husband Clyde "Jim" Kinney; her stepson Eric Kinney; and her siblings, Myrna Folks, Frances Whitling, Joe, Walter, Paul, Glenn and Kenneth Whitling.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Bower of Youngsville, PA, Mary Kinney of Titusville, PA, Leonard Kinney (Sue) of Punxsutawney, PA and Timothy Kinney (Hyo Chong) of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bracken Funeral Home Inc. (315 N Center St, Corry, PA 16407). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartansburg Fire Hall, 330 Main St, Spartansburg, PA 16434.
