It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michelle Lee Briggs (Southwest, Pennsylvania), born in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 27, 2018, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent James E. Briggs, Jr.; her grandparents, Mary L. Phillips, Glenna Schlessinger and James E. Briggs, Sr. of Smithton; and her stepgrandfather Rudolph Phillips of Greensburg.
She is survived by: her parent Cheryl L. Briggs of Greensburg; her son Tony Salandra of Saltsburg; her fiancé Joseph Valerio of Southwest Greensburg; her children, Brandon Valerio of Youngwood and Victoria Valerio of Fla; her grandson Dominick Valerio of Fla; her siblings, Rachel Townsend, Glenn Evans, Heather Briggs, Tracy Higdon and James E. Briggs, Jr. of Greensburg; her grandfather Walt Bruggeman of Trafford; her pet Honda; and her brother Jimmy. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shelly's name for her love of animals to All But Furgotten, 70 Carpenter Ln., North Huntingdon, PA 15642.
