It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Hawkins of Southview, Pennsylvania, born in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel McCarthy and Hazel Bird McCarthy; and her husband William O. Hawkins. She is survived by: her children, William "Hawkeye" Hawkins (Diane) of Crown Point, IN, Sandy Karmann of McDonald, Brian Hawkins of Southview and Pamela "John" Michalak of Cochranton; her grandchildren, William III, Keith Jr. Brandon, Kelsie Hawkins, Brandy Ciammaichella, Ryan Karmann, John, Brad and Tyler Michalak; her son Keith W. Hawkins; her grandson Ronald W. Karmann Jr.; and her siblings, Charles McCarthy, Annabelle McGinnis, Ada Smith and Melvina Wolford. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
